The main party will gather at the Chindit Memorial at 2pm.
This event commemorates the 8th Anniversary of 77th Indian Infantry Brigades Operation 'Longloth' and the formation of the 14th Army and the 78th Anniversary of VJ Day.
The service will will be conducted by Captain Hanson, Chaplain, 352nd Special Operations Wing, USAF and take place between 2pm and 3.15pm. There will be wreath laying at both the Chindit and Burma Star Memorial and the Bugles from The Waterloo Band of The Rifles. Standards will be paraded by members of The Royal British Legion.
