Entry to the Arboretum is free, however we recommend booking your visit in advance to guarantee entry and save on parking*. Our grounds are open from 10am – 5pm daily, or 10am - 4pm through winter (Monday 27 October 2025 - Sunday 29 April 2026). 

 

*Cars - £8 on the door, or £5 if booked in advance
 Motorcycle - £5 on the door, or £3 if booked in advance

Visitor Information

On Saturday 4 October Ride to the Wall will be held in the grounds of the National Memorial Arboretum. The Arboretum will be much busier than normal, and a park and ride facility will be in operation. All visitors arriving in cars, including blue badge holders, will be directed to the park and ride facility at Alrewas Showground. Please follow the direction of event signage and our event marshals. Daily parking charges will apply.

Navigating the Arboretum

Maps and Guidebooks which provide more information about the memorials and where you’ll find them in our grounds can be purchased from our Welcome Desk. The Guidebook, features four highlighted routes around the Arboretum and contains the stories behind some of the 400+ memorials you will see along the way.
