80th Anniversary Remembrance for the Battle of Lion Box

A Remembrance service roll call for the Battle of Lion Box, Kanglatongbi 1944 to honour the 105 men of British and Indian armies of the 14th Army in March/April 1944.

Starts at the Remembrance Centre.

Parades to the Burma Star Memorial for the service, including Last Post, Silence, Roll Call and wreath laying. 

The Battle of Lion Box Kanglatongbi defended British supplies and ammunition against Japanese attack.

Representatives of Regiments and Corps involved in the battle will be present to support members of the men's families.
