Guided Tours

A guided tour at the National Memorial Arboretum offers a meaningful and age-appropriate experience for students of all ages. 

 

Set in a beautifully landscaped setting, the Arboretum brings history to life through its memorials and stories of service and sacrifice.

 

All of our tours are 90 minutes long and are available at a cost of £5 per student.

Activity Book Tour

For: Key Stage 1

 

Led by our friendly volunteers, this interactive tour guides young explorers around the Arboretum with their very own activity book in hand. Along the way, students will complete a variety of age-appropriate activities learning simple facts about remembrance and the importance of the Arboretum.

 

The tour encourages curiosity, creativity and reflection, making it a perfect blend of education and adventure.

Guided Walk

For: Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 5

 

Our interactive guided tours are led by specially trained guides who are adept at engaging with our younger visitors. The tours encompass several emotive and symbolic memorials from civilian groups as well as military associations.
