82nd Anniversary of Operation Market Garden

Operation Market Garden was the code name for an Allied operation which took place in September 1944 to secure a series of bridges over the major rivers of the German occupied Netherlands.

Thursday 17 September marks the 82nd anniversary for the Market Garden campaign.

This event is open to all veterans, members, bereaved families, and descendants of Operation Market Garden, all standard bearers are invited to attend please.

The event will start with a short service at the Operation Market Garden Memorial, followed by an Act of Remembrance and wreath laying ceremony with hymns.
