Our restaurant serves a range of hot food, sandwiches, soups and cakes. The menu changes daily, depending on the fresh ingredients we source from our local suppliers. There is also ice cream available from local Derbyshire artisan Bluebell Dairy. Both indoor and outdoor seating options are available.
Hot food is served until 1.5 hours before closing. Hot and cold drinks, cakes and snacks are available throughout.

The 25th Anniversary Celebratory Afternoon Tea menu takes inspiration from the Arboretum’s stories, landscape, and a commitment to using locally sourced, seasonal produce.
Featuring freshly prepared sandwiches, scones and a selection of tasty cakes, alongside our brand-new 25th anniversary loose-leaf tea, this is the perfect addition to your next visit.

Our Coffee Shop can be found in Heroes’ Square close to the Remembrance Centre.
It serves takeaway snacks and barista crafted coffees using fresh beans from our local roaster Chartley Coffee.

We cater for many visitors with a wide range of dietary requirements every day and take allergies very seriously. While we do not run a dedicated allergen free kitchen, we take all steps to minimise any cross contamination. We have a dedicated fridge in the restaurant area that provides cakes and biscuits for many different dietary requirements.
Please do let our Food Services team know if you have a dietary requirement and we’ll do our best to help you and can advise if particular dishes contain allergens, we always aim to accommodate and will do our best to produce something that will suit.
Dogs are welcome within our Coffee Shop, with treats and water available. Refreshments are also available from our Restaurant, where a limited number of indoor tables are available for those visiting with dogs.
