What if the weather is bad, will the event still go ahead?
The event will go ahead in the event of inclement weather. We ask that you check the weather forecast and come prepared! Ponchos and umbrellas are available for purchase in our gift shop.

We recommend that you bring an extra jumper or blanket, as this is an outdoor event and the temperature may drop in the evening.
Am I able to purchase additional tickets on the day?
Tickets can be purchased until the day before each performance. Tickets for the performance on Saturday 7 August will be available to purchase until Friday 6 August. Tickets for the performance on Sunday 8 August will be available until Saturday 7 August.
Can I Go Back to the Car If There Is Something That I Have Forgotten?
When you arrive at the Arboretum your tickets will be checked and you will be issued with a wristband which will permit you entry to the performance arena. You will need to show the wristband to obtain re-entry to the performance arena.
What is the start/end time of the event?
Admission to the performance area is from 6pm, with the Proms performance beginning at 8pm. Tickets can be exchanged for ticketholder wristbands at the Remembrance Centre Welcome Desk from 10am on the day of the performance. Wristbands will be required to enter the performance arena, which will open to all ticket holders at 6pm. We recommend arriving in good time to allow for ticket checks. The event is scheduled to conclude at 10.30pm. Please note that timings are approximate and subject to change.
Will the Arboretum remain open all day for ticket holders?
The Arboretum grounds will be open from 10am, and will remain open to ticket holders until the start of the evening’s performance. We would encourage ticket holders to arrive early and enjoy our beautiful grounds. If you're planning to arrive earlier in the day we ask that you collect your performance wristbands from our Welcome Desk in the Remembrance Centre upon arrival on site.
