Made from durable accoya wood, our Tribute Tiles will enhance the Arboretum interpretation shelters and celebrate the lives of individual people. Each tile will remain in situ for a minimum of five years before being sensitively recycled in the development of our trees and gardens.
A limited number of Tribute Tiles are available and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Each tile (200 x 250 x 11mm) will feature up to 60 characters (a name and short message) and the leaf design of a native British tree: choose from oak, field maple and elm.
How to Apply
Please purchase by clicking the button below. Tribute Tiles cost £150 including VAT, and all proceeds will go towards the day to day work of the Arboretum. On receipt of payment we will send an electronic form for completion with the name and message you wish to feature. A space of 60 characters is permitted.
Terms and Conditions
Tribute Tiles will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Orders will not be processed until full payment is received. Tiles will be installed in batches of 30; we cannot guarantee a specific installation date. Please contact us in advance to check your tile is in situ before you visit the Arboretum. We are unable to install on demand. Once installed, tiles will remain in place for a minimum of five years, after which they will be sensitively composted into mulch to help the growth of our trees. We are unable to return tiles to the purchaser at the end of the installation period.
The Arboretum reserves the right to refuse inappropriate applications and can withdraw this scheme at any time. Tiles will be produced in line with information provided on the entry form; the National Memorial Arboretum will not accept responsibility for any errors.
Accoya wood is a natural material and subject to weathering. All text will be applied using pyrography techniques and could fade over time. We cannot guarantee which shelter tiles will feature on, but we can advise after installation where individual tiles have been installed. Visitors should enquire at reception on arrival.
The National Memorial Arboretum reserves the right to close this scheme at any time. No alternative product is available and monies are non transferable to other Remembrance schemes.
