Ride to the Wall sees thousands of motorcyclists, both young and old, from around the UK come together to remember the names engraved on the walls of the Armed Forces Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum.
Experience and enjoy the spectacle as thousands of motorcyclists arrive at the Arboretum for Ride to the Wall 2019. Activities, including an annual Remembrance service, will be taking place during this special day.

Please note: To help us manage the flow of traffic into and out of the Arboretum, a road closure will be in place on this day on Croxall Road. All cars without a valid 2019 parking permit will be directed to a park and ride facility at Alrewas Show Ground.
Car & Coach Parking:
All cars, mini buses and coaches will be directed to our park and ride facility. This area will be clearly signposted on the approach to the Arboretum.
Please be advised that there is a £3 parking charge.
Blue Badge Parking:
Blue Badge parking is available at the park and ride facility. A complementary, fully accessible, shuttle service, travelling to and from our Remembrance centre, will be provided. Please be advised that a £3 parking charge will apply for blue badge holders. The shuttle service will operate from 9am with the last shuttle service leaving our site at 5.30pm. A limited number of mobility scooters are available to hire, subject to availability please call 01283 245 100.
Food and Drink:
Our restaurant and coffee shop will be open throughout the day. Food and drink can also be purchased at our catering village, located in Heroes' Square, with a portion of proceeds being donated to the Arboretum.
Motorcyclists can leave their helmets at our dedicated helmet stores during the course of the day at a cost of £2 per helmet.
Ride to the Wall Registration
If you haven't already done so, you can register for this year's event online. A voluntary contribution of £10 per person is suggested. All those registering will receive a 2019 RTTW year bar. Cash only will be accepted for Ride to the Wall registration on the day. A cash machine is available in our Remembrance Centre. A charge applies for its use.
Ride to the Wall Merchandise
A variety of Ride to the Wall merchandise will be on sale at the Ride to the Wall merchandise tent including clothing, pins, patches, flags, keyrings. Cash only will be accepted for merchandise on the day. A cash machine is available in our Remembrance Centre. A small charge, applied by the cash machine provider, applies for its use.
Land Train, Buggy Tours and Exhibitions
The land train and our buggy tours will not be operating on Saturday 5 October. Our exhibition, Landscapes of Life, will also be open throughout the day featuring our temporary exhibition Tribute Ink, which will explore the meaning, symbolism and significance of tattoo art and why it has become an important part of the Armed Forces community.
Ride to the Wall
A registered UK charity, Ride to the Wall is organised by a team of passionate volunteers in conjunction with the National Memorial Arboretum. Every year funds raised by the event are gifted to the Arboretum to support our £4,000 per day running costs. To date over £941,000 has been raised by the event which is open to both motorcyclists and non motorcyclists, families and friends, the event is now in it's 12th year.
