Visitors should arrive in Heroes’ Square by 10.15am. The service will commence at 10.30am culminating in a 2-minutes’ silence and wreath laying. The Arboretum's service and coverage from the service, held in Northern France, will be relayed on large screens in Heroes' Square and on Millennium Avenue.
The Arboretum will open to the public on 6 June at 8.30am. An early arrival is recommended on this day as we expect many more visitors than normal. Visitors wishing to observe the service should arrive onsite by 10.15am.
A number of unreserved chairs will be available, in Heroes' Square and on Millennium Avenue, for use by the general public on a first come, first served basis.
The Band of the Royal Armoured Corps will perform in Heroes' Square at 1pm.
Commemorative programmes containing orders of service will be available, from the Remembrance Centre, for a suggested donation of £2 each.
Spaces in our main car park will be reserved for blue badge holders on this day. Spaces cannot be reserved and will be issued on a first come, first served basis. All other vehicles will be directed to our overspill car park which is located approximately 150 metres along Croxall Road. A vehicle drop-off point for coaches and cars is located next to the Remembrance Centre, visitors will be able to drop-off / pick-up passengers from this area throughout the day.
Visitors are advised to allow longer travel time than normal on this day.
