Guided walks of varying lengths take place daily at 11.30am and 2.30pm (subject to availability) with a charge of £2.50 per person. These can be booked at the Visitor Centre and are especially good for those wishing to learn more about the deep symbolism of the landscape and history of the memorials.

For those wanting to wander around the grounds at their own pace, our guidebook is available from the Visitor Centre for £6.50. It is a beautiful glossy book which details information on each memorial. We also offer a detailed site map for £3.

These are ideal for those visitors who wish to explore the grounds independently, along our many trails and walks.  You can choose a leisurely walk to suit your time and ability. For more information, or to purchase any of the publications mentioned above, please ask at Reception.

VIP tours are available for £100 for up to five people. One of our experienced volunteers will act as your guide for the day. Receive a personal tour of the Arboretum from a motorised buggy; your guide will share a wealth of knowledge about the history of the Arboretum, the memorials and the development of the grounds.

These tours are available at a time to suit you between 11am and 4pm, with a one hour break for a two-course lunch, chosen from the varied menu in the Arbour Restaurant. We can particularly recommend this wonderful experience as a gift for loved ones but please note that certain weather conditions may make areas of the site inaccessible by vehicle.

The land train operates approximately every 30 minutes from 10am. Please enquire at Reception for tour times. This 60-minute tour includes an enlightening commentary and begins from the Fauld Memorial.

Tickets can be purchased from The Market Square for £4.50 per adult or £2.00 per child (under 12 years). Family land train tickets, for two adults and two children under 12 years, are also available and cost £11.00. The newly-extended route includes the out-lying areas of the Arboretum.
