It seats 120 on a first-come, first-served basis and the service is relayed to the surrounding area over a public address system.

The daily Act of Remembrance incorporates the Last Post, Silence and the Reveille.

Occasionally private services take place which will restrict access for visitors.

We ask individuals or groups wishing to hold their own Act of Remembrance, in whatever form, to let us know in writing, with timings, well in advance. Ceremonies of more than 15 minutes duration or involving more than 120 people are deemed to be a Remembrance Event and charges may apply (we’ll happily supply further details on request). 

The Cloisters and the Millennium Chapel of Peace and Forgiveness offer spectacular views across the Arboretum.

Poppy crosses and sprays are available all year round from the Visitor Centre for those wishing to pay their own tribute at a memorial, wreaths may be obtained by providing two weeks' notice.In the Long Gallery there is the facility to light a candle in Remembrance.
