Visiting For Learning

The National Memorial Arboretum is the perfect venue for developing an understanding of Remembrance, as well as a whole host of other subjects including science, literacy and geography.

We support various curriculum-based objectives through a fully inclusive learning programme, actively engaging visitors of all ages.

Our facilities include:

  • Specialist onsite learning team
  • Two purpose built classrooms in our award-winning Remembrance Centre
  • Two children’s playgrounds/activity areas
  • FREE coach parking
  • Outdoor discovery shelters
Entry to the Arboretum Car Park, featuring a large sign stating opening hours are 10am to 5pm daily during the summer.

Getting Here and Coach Parking

If you are travelling to the Arboretum in a coach or minibus, please drive to the drop-off area at the front of the Remembrance Centre. One of our team will meet and greet you, and provide you with any necessary information for your visit.

Your group can then disembark and, should it be required, the vehicle will be directed to coach parking.
