Getting to the National Memorial Arboretum

The National Memorial Arboretum is now open for pre-booked visitors only. In order to prioritise the safety and wellbeing of our visitors and team members, there is a limited capacity on site, booking will be required, queuing systems, and one way pathways through the Remembrance Centre and Heroes’ Square. Additional measures are in place, including hygiene screens and extra cleaning. The Shop and Restaurant, serving a variety of takeaway snacks and drinks, are open. Daily activities, including guided walks, talks and the land train will not take place until further notice. Toilet facilities in the Remembrance Centre will be open.

Bookings must be made on line and only visitors pre-booking a vehicle will be granted access to site. Further information and details on how to book can be found here

The Arboretum is situated in the centre of England on Croxall Road, Alrewas in Staffordshire. It is easy to reach from any part of the country and is close to all the Midlands motorways.

Please follow the instruction of our signage and parking marshals who will advise you where to park. A number of wider blue badge and family spaces are located close to the Remembrance Centre available on a first-come-first-served basis. A drop-off/pick-up area is located next to the entrance of our Remembrance Centre.

Visitors arriving by car should be aware that a parking charge of £4.00 (coins) per day applies (pay and display). This also applies to blue badge holders. There is no charge for coaches.

Coach Operators should always book their arrival times with the Arboretum on 01283 245 143.

Please note: all monies from parking fees are given directly to the charity and help to ensure the National Memorial Arboretum remains a free entry site.
