Where our Nation remembers

FAMILY VISITS

The National Memorial Arboretum is the perfect venue for families to visit, providing a stunning and educational experience, outdoors among beautiful parkland and indoors throughout our exhibition facilities.

A Kid's Guidebook is available on the visitor's welcome desk, to help guide children around the site, gathering and learning information enroute.

We advise children visiting the site of the following guidelines:

  1. Stay with a grown up / adult at all times, don't get lost!

  2. The ground at the National Memorial Arboretum can get very wet and slippy. Take care not to trip or fall, especially by water!

  3. This is a place of peace and remembrance. Please be respectful of others by not running or shouting too much!

Our shop, exhibition area and cafe are located in the Visitor Centre, where toilets facilities for people with disabilities and baby changing can be found. If nursing mothers would prefer privacy, please ask a member of staff.

A comprehensive guidebook to the whole Arboretum, in full-colour, is available from the Visitor Centre for £5.95 and the Kid's Guidebook is available for £2.50.

Enjoy your visit.
