The National Memorial Arboretum relies on the assistance of volunteers, friends and donations. There are numerous ways you can help.

Support the NMA Appeal
This was launched by HRH Prince William on 24 April 2009. The £8 million appeal aims to generate funding for expansion of the NMA's infrastructure and enable it to become a world-renowned centre for Remembrance. Get involved

There are over 100 volunteers involved in many activities at the Arboretum and their help is vital in supporting this national centre for remembrance. You could make a valuable contribution in many ways including:

  • Welcoming visitors and giving information
  • Practical grounds maintenance
  • Helping children to appreciate the NMA and its wildlife
  • Assisting the events team
  • Helping in the gift shop or cafe
  • Leading guided walks in the grounds
  • Education
  • Giving talks and presentations off site
