At the Arboretum we have a range of opportunities for you to get involved in. 

Some of the duties include:

• Providing information
• Guiding walks
• Meeting and greeting visitors 
• Helping with special events
• being part of our education programme
• Helping visitors locate a name on the Armed Forces Memorial and being there to answer any questions
• Strolling the grounds and helping visitors with any questions
• Giving talks about the Arboretum to groups/organisations
• Serving in the gift shop or the Arboretum's own charity shop "knick knacks"
• Helping out with a range of administrative tasks
• clearing tables and operating the till in our restaurant
• Saw, chop, cut, prune and till the soil on regular 'Working Weekends'.

• enjoy the experience and have fun
• chance to socialise
• get plenty of fresh air and excercise
