Presently we have a waiting list of people interested in joining our team of volunteers, so with the exception of certain departments (see below), we have closed the list until further notice. To register on our waiting list or to apply for the roles in the departments below, please e-mail our Volunteer Administrator Kim Riley at info@thenma.org.uk Education The education team guides students of all ages and abilities on tours within the Arboretum. If your skill is researching conflict, war or memorials we can match this information to the curriculum to enlighten the learning experience. Marketing and Fundraising We are actively looking for volunteers to assist this department. So if you have skills in copy writing, literature production, databases, or are happy to help get a mailing out of the door when needed - we would love to hear from you! Shop Do you like to help people find something special to remember their visit, are you calm in a busy environment? If so, we are interested in hearing from you. Retail experience is a bonus, but really we are looking for confident team players to help in both our onsite gift shop and also our charity shop, Knick Knacks. Working weekends For those of you who enjoy being outside, planting, pruning, doing ground’s maintenance, then we recommend our working weekends. These are the first full weekend of each month and you are most welcome to come along. It’s a great activity which the whole family can get involved in!
