We’re building a collection of case studies about people who have been involved in the many dozens of conflicts that have taken place since World War One. This catalogue of personal experiences will allow us to assist media outlets looking for case studies and will allow us to illustrate the work of the National Memorial Arboretum and raise awareness of our site and the work we do as the UK’s year-round centre of Remembrance. This project will help preserve the memories of those who served by sharing their stories with younger generations . If you, a friend, or family member have been involved in a conflict, and would like to share a story, please complete our form below with information about your experience.
We’d like to try and find at least one case study for each of the 77 conflicts listed on the form. We aim to share many of these stories with the public as part of relevant commemorative activities as examples of the human experience of conflict.
