Thank you for your interest in supporting the work of the National Memorial Arboretum with a gift in your will. All legacy donations, whatever their size, make a valuable contribution to the Arboretum's work – keeping it alive for future generations!
As the UK's year-round centre of Remembrance, the Arboretum welcomes children, widows and widowers, friends and families as they celebrate or pay tribute to their own special someone. The wide-open spaces and unique surroundings host public and military memorials. The woods and gardens bring solace to those who wish to remember in private.
"A most emotional place. We owe so much and must never forget"
It takes an enormous amount of work and money to keep the National Memorial Arboretum thriving and welcoming to all who want to visit. Some examples are:
• Annual tree surgery £14,000
• Garden and grounds maintenance £30,000
• Building repairs and maintenance £103,000
Every year we need amounts like this, just to keep on top of things.
Once your family and friends are taken care of, you could consider leaving a gift of money, property or a percentage of your estate to the National Memorial Arboretum. Your legacy will help ensure the National Memorial Arboretum stays open, and free, for future generations.
"So sad and moving yet a beautiful place to remember. We must maintain this precious gift for our children!"
