A Spotlight On: The Making of a Public Memorial Sculpture

Join sculptor Georgie Welch for an informative talk through the process of creating The Christmas Truce memorial commissioned by the Football Association, sited at the National Memorial Arboretum.

Images will add a pictorial element to this Spotlight Talk. Georgie will also discuss other public works and give an insight into studio life.

Georgie Welch has been sculpting private works in bronze for over 20 years, since training as a Figurative Sculptor at Stafford College. In 2011 she was awarded her first public commission and continues to combine both public and private works.
