World War I Capturing the Past Photography Workshop

Perfect for amateur snappers, our summer photography workshop is ideal for visitors looking to develop their skills to gain a deeper understanding of the use of depth, perspective and composition in photography.

From smart phones and tablets, to digital and compact cameras, however you like to capture your perfect picture, photographer Alison Fawdrey will be on hand during the session to guide you.  Using models and descriptive readings the session will take you on an immersive journey back to WWI.

Activities during the workshop will help you to gain a deeper understanding of depth, perspective and picture composition as well as obtaining knowledge about events that took place 100 years ago.

The workshop will run from 10am – 2pm with a break for lunch, whereby visitors may wish to visit our restaurant. Some activities will take place on site so please ensure that you bring suitable clothing and footwear.
