Story Telling - Polar Exploration

Join us this half term for more story telling and exploration around the Arboretum.

The whole family will love to join our costumed Polar Explorer to hear tales of historic expeditions to the north and south poles. Children will be fascinated to listen to the amazing stories of famous explorers like Ernest Shackleton and Scott of Antarctic, and tales of polar bear encounters won't disappoint in these family-friendly accounts.

Warm clothing is essential as some stories will be told outside near relevant memorials. Children are encouraged to dress for the occasion in their exploration attire as our on-site selfie frames will provide the perfect photo opportunity as a keepsake for their expedition to the Arboretum.
