Cyprus Memorial Remembrance Service

A service of Remembrance will be held at the Cyprus Memorial.

The memorial is dedicated to the British servicemen and police who lost their lives during the Cyprus Emergency, which ended in April 1959. A total of 371 soldiers, sailors and airmen, and 21 British civilian police offices were killed. The memorial, which incorporate a 4-tonne piece of Cyprus rock was dedicated by retired Royal Air Force Chief of Staff, Air Marshall Sir Michael Graydon, in 2016.
