August Wildlife Watch

From tiny insects to mammals and amphibious water loving creatures, the Arboretum is home to a wide variety of wildlife, trees and flowers. Nature loving young visitors can discover more about just some of these amazing living things at our monthly interactive Wildlife Watch sessions.

Each Wildlife Watch session provides a great opportunity for you and your child to engage with the vast variety of nature that calls the Arboretum home.

During our August session our eagle-eyed young explorers will be learning more about mini beasts, butterflies and wild plants discovering more about how plants and insects depend on each other.

Parents / guardians must remain with their children at all times. The session will be held in one of our covered Discovery Shelters so it is important that all children are appropriately dressed.  In the event of inclement weather, an indoor space will be provided for the group.
