Easter Holiday Activities

With 150-acres of woodland to explore and lots to see and do, visit the National Memorial Arboretum this Easter and enjoy your own spring family adventure.  The Arboretum is free to enter and all Easter family activities are free although, as a charity, donations are appreciated.


"Little Hatchlings" - Animal Encounters

Friday 14 - Monday 17 April

Visit the Arboretum between the 14 – 17 April when children will be able to enjoy their own ‘Little Hatchling’ Animal Encounter, where along with bunnies, young visitors to the Arboretum will be able to meet guinea pigs, lambs and feed pygmy goats.

family EASTER TRAIL

Friday 14 - Monday 17 April

Using our FREE Easter family trail map, explore our amazing spring landscape to help find the missing letters in our grounds and unscramble them to discover our secret message. All children will receive a free chocolate treat.

"Little Hatchlings" Animal Make and Take

Saturday 8 April - SUNDAY 23 April

Inspired by some of the animals who call the Arboretum home, throughout the Easter holidays young Arboretum visitors will be able to craft their own animal to take home.

Children's Sensory Play Garden and Play Area

Located close to the Remembrance Centre our new children’s Sensory Play Garden includes tunnels, a climbing globe, bannister slides and a time circle. A second children’s play area is located in the Children’s Wood, picnic benches are located nearby.
